An array of Dwell values, usually one for each pixel in an image
being drawn. This is different from a pixel array because the pixel
array usually stores the color of the pixel, not the dwell value.
Since many dwell values sometimes appear as the same color, the dwell
array contains more information.
Use of a dwell array is a speed optimization if you want to be able to
change the color map or palette on a system without a hardware
color map.
