R2 names are symbolic, like mathematical expressions and chemical formulas.

If you wish to learn the R2 System by example, start with the entry R2 Name Examples (which describes these examples), plus the following entries : R2, R2.1/2.1/5a, R2.1/2.C(1/2), R2.1/2a, R2.1/3, R2.3/4a, R2.2/5a, R2.C(0), R2.C(1/2), R2F(1/2B), R2F(1/2B1)FS[2]FS[2]FS[2]S, R2F(1/2B1)S, R2F(1/2B1)S.C(0), R2F(1/3B*).
