Robert P. Munafo, 2000 Jan 24.
math. A collection of mathematical objects (called elements)
considered together. The number can be zero, finite or infinite.
The study of the Mandelbrot set is usually conducted within a geometric
or topological set theory, and so the Mandelbrot set is treated as
a set of points.
