West
Robert P. Munafo, 2010 Sep 20.
A colloquial direction and directional modifier used in either of two ways:
1. The direction in which the real coordinate decreases towards negative infinity. Also called left.
2. Relative to a mu-molecule, refers to the same side or direction as that mu-molecule's tip.
Usage is analogous to the terms south and southern; see that article for examples.
The west external angle is 1/2, and the filament subset operator for the filament off the western side of a mu-molecule is FS[(1/2B1)t] (which can be abbreviated FS[2]).
